Shortly after I wrote THIS (literally a day or so later) on the matter, I was told (and subsequently threatened with brutal retribution if I mentioned it to anyone) that all may not have been as it seemed.
I still stick by my sentiments, having not taken the original post down, but what a fucking legend. Fooled everyone, myself included.
